Subject: Old Fashioned Fudge Frosting.....For Wanda
2 1 ounce squares unsweetened chocolate
3 Cups sugar
3 tablespoons light corn syrup (karo)
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
1/4 cup real butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract......not imitation
Combine chocolate, sugar, syrup, salt and milk in at least a 3 quart
saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves and
chocolate is melted. Cook to soft ball stage. Remove fron heat and add
butter and cool until mixture is just warm ( cool enough that you can
put your hand on the bottom of the pot and hold it there ). Add
vanilla and beat by hand....I use a wooden spoon....until mixture is
of spreading consistency.
This makes enough to frost a 2 layer cake. You can increase the recipe
by half for a 3 layer cake.

I once had stuffed grape leaves with a lemon sauce, although I have
looked everywhere for the recipe, I can only find the stuffed grape
leaves and not the sauce, I know this is a tradional greek recipe and
not southern, but if anyone has this recipe I would greatly appreciate
it!
Thank You
Sandy

Subject: Frying Crispy Chicken
In the month of January, February, Or March 2002 there were several
reciepes on marinating chicken in buttermilk overnight and various
other ways to fry or bake crispy chicken. I am thinking that it was a
website that on your website. If anyone has that please send it out

-here was man lived in Mississippi and he made the best lemonade. He
would let the lemons sit in there and it wouldn't get bitter. I asked
him for the recipe, but he would not give it out. Does anyone have a
recipe like this?
Thanks

Subject: RE: Scrapper
To: posts@chitterlings.com
I am not sure if this will help you or not.
Scrapple is a meat. Much like hot dogs, it is made out of a lot of
things that most people do not care to know about. But it is some of
the best tasting stuff I have ever had. It is easier to find up north,
if you can believe that. It is usually sold in grocery markets in a
block like shape.
All you have to do is cut it and fry it. Maybe add seasoning to it if
you like.
Hope that helps you.
