Yes, I know that subject line seems pretty “out there,”
but I DO know lots of people earning high six-figures
and even seven-figures for doing little more than
talking.
In case you haven’t noticed, I personally do pretty well
just sharing my opinions online. However, up until now,
it’s been mostly in my writing.
I honestly feel that we live in one of the greatest
times in human history. Any of us can quite literally
earn a full-time income just from sharing our thoughts
and opinions.
If you keep telling yourself that you have nothing to
sell the world, I respectfully disagree, because we
all have opinions and ideas.
You CAN get paid for sharing those, and to me that is
totally amazing!
I do a lot of writing myself. I’ve always dreamed of
being a writer. Even in my teens, I read magazines like
Writers Digest, and regularly submitted articles and
short pieces to newspapers and magazines.
Back then, many publications paid a penny per word…
or LESS. Still, I liked the idea of having my name
in print, so I wrote and submitted a lot… and got a
LOT of rejection slips 
Fast-forward 35 years, and today, the internet makes
it easy for anyone to be a published author/writer,
AND to earn a full-time income doing it.
Three days ago, a friend commented on Facebook that
I write what seems like a book… every day.
I smiled but admitted that all I’m doing is thinking
out loud. To me, writing is no harder than explaining
how to do something (or why to do something) to a
friend.
Done properly, that can generate a full-time income.
If you didn’t feel like writing, you COULD just talk
it out, and publish your audios, but that feels even
more intimidating to some people.
I actually believe that you should write it first, and
then turn it into other formats. That way more people
get to see your content since different people like
“consuming” your content in different modalities.
Here’s the secret…
Writing great content that people will happily pay
your for, or that will cause people to buy things from
you, is only a matter of practice.
